In-office CT Scan
We now have a miniature-CT scanner in our office. It is less intimidating than a conventional full-body CT scanner and uses a lower radiation dose. You need only sit in a chair for 20 seconds and in a few minutes we can have a high-quality image to review with you. The next steps in your treatment plan can be agreed upon right away. A scan can also help determine if the problem originates in the sinuses or elsewhere. If the problem is not in the sinuses, we can spare you from taking expensive antibiotics and avoid the side affects sometimes associated with them. The faster you begin your treatment, the faster you can get relief from your symptoms. |
